ShelterCare needs caring and committed individuals to work in our important part-time, on-call roles. The Counselor/Advocate II works as a key member of a clinical team, guiding and supervising residents through their daily schedule and treatment plan in a mental health facility. Must be personable, flexible, responsible, and enjoy working in a variety of facilities. This is a great place to start a career as a mental health professional.

Relief staff are on-call personnel who do not have set schedules. They fill shifts left open by staff who call in sick, are on vacation, etc., which means the program needs for Relief are always fluctuating. It's a great way to exercise more control over your work schedule and the number of hours you accept on a weekly basis. Relief staff can work up to 30 hours a week.

Requires a BA/BS in a behavioral science or a minimum three years' full-time mental health experience. Must currently qualify to be credentialed as Qualified Mental Health Associate. Requires a driver's license. On-call/as needed for day, swing, or night shifts, which can include weekdays and/or weekends. $13.00/hr.

It is easy to apply online at www.sheltercare.org.
