ShelterCare needs a caring, compassionate, and results-focused individual to become part of a highly collaborative team and make a difference in the lives of individuals with acquired brain injury. Our nationally recognized Uhlhorn Program is one of only two in the state of Oregon that serves survivors of acquired brain injury and assists them in living independent and fulfilling lives.

Participating as an active member of the treatment team, the Counselor/Advocate 2 is responsible for guiding and assisting adult consumers with basic life management activities for independent living. Daily responsibilities include: creating and implementing individual goal plans; monitoring and passing medication under the supervision of the Program Manager and Clinical Supervisor; accurately documenting consumer behaviors and development toward their goals; providing individual case management; and assisting with the physical operation of the facility.

This position requires a BA/BS degree in a behavioral science or a minimum of three years' experience in mental health. Candidates must possess a current driver's license, qualify to drive agency vehicles, and pass a DHS background check. Full time, Sun. - Thurs., 8am - 5pm; $14.28/hr. plus a competitive benefits package.
