ShelterCare is offering an exciting opportunity for an experienced mental health professional with an eye for details and a commitment to quality to take their career to the next level. This is the perfect position for someone interested in honing their leadership skills and mentoring behavioral health professionals while also ensuring the highest levels of client care. The Quality Assurance Officer provides direction for Quality Assurance Performance improvement plans for multiple programs serving adults with medical fragility, psychiatric disabilities, traumatic brain injury, and barriers to consistent, safe housing. They will be responsible for oversight of agency compliance with Oregon Administrative Rules and Oregon Revised Statutes and Medicaid documentation standards as well as responsible for the oversight and compliance of ShelterCare HUD programs. Day-to-day duties include auditing records, implementing corrective action plans and training staff to adhere to rules, regulations and best practice. In addition, the Quality Assurance Officer serves as ShelterCare's HIPAA and Privacy Compliance officer, handling staff training, policy amendment and development, and information management to ensure adherence to rules, regulations and standards of practice. 

This position requires progressive levels of clinical and administrative responsibility, knowledge of OAR's in residential and outpatient settings, and knowledge of HUD compliance and regulation requirements. Experience with behavioral health assessments and treatment plans is required and a Master's degree in behavioral science or related field is preferred.

This is an exempt, full-time position. $61,341 (DOE) annual salary. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, and life insurance as well as 10 paid holidays, generous paid time off, a pet-friendly environment, and an employee assistance program. Weekly schedule is M - F, 8am - 5pm.
