Sick Leave time and employee assistance program

ShelterCare needs an experienced clinician to provide treatment and support services to adults diagnosed with severe and persistent mental illness and living in a supportive housing setting. The agency's Behavioral Health Services program serves more than 220 previously homeless clients who are now living independently in apartments throughout the community.

The Therapist will work as part of a highly collaborative, multidisciplinary team that strives to provide clients with the best possible care. At least 65 percent of his or her work time will be devoted to service delivery. Daily duties are varied and will include: conducting comprehensive mental health assessments; developing treatment plans; providing individual and group therapy; crisis intervention; documenting services in an electronic clinical record; and actively participating in quality assurance and treatment plan evaluation.

Candidates must have a master's degree in a behavioral science and be eligible for certification as a Qualified Mental Health Professional. Experience working with individuals diagnosed with severe and persistent mental illness preferred. All candidates must possess basic computer skills and a valid driver's license. He or she must be eligible to drive agency vehicles and able to pass a DHS background check.

Part time (20-25 hours a week), non-exempt position. $20.76/hour.
