ShelterCare is looking for a caring and energetic Qualified Mental Health Associate ready for a leadership role providing treatment and support to adults with psychiatric disabilities. Garden Place is a warm and home-like 12-bed secure residential facility; it is staffed with individuals committed to providing the highest level of care to clients. This is the perfect opportunity for someone who is committed to improving the lives of people who have struggled with homelessness and/or mental illness.

Working as part of a highly collaborative team, the Floor Supervisor will take an active role in decision-making for the program; provide supervision, mentoring, and support to staff; and provide direct treatment services to adult clients with severe and persistent mental illness. Daily duties are varied and include conducting individual or group meetings with residents for support and skills training; providing advocacy and case management for clients; administering medication; documenting clinical services in an electronic health record; recruiting, training, and supervising staff; participating in leadership meetings and making decisions regarding program policies and procedures; and helping with the physical operation of the facility.

This position requires a responsible, self-motivated individual who is comfortable working in a secure treatment facility. It requires a BA/BS in a behavioral science, a minimum of three years' mental health experience, or a combination of the two. Previous supervisory experience in the behavioral health field preferred. Must qualify to be certified as a QMHA, possess a current driver's license, qualify to drive agency vehicles, and pass a DHS background check.

Full-time, exempt position; Sun - Thu., swing shif with some flexibility in hours.  $15.91/hr. plus a competitive benefits package including health insurance and paid time off.
